Liberty Station is set to host a vibrant array of events this summer, spotlighting the rich tapestry of San Diego artists and offering memorable experiences for the community.
On Saturday, June 13, the Arts District Liberty Station will come alive with the Summer Arts Fest from 2 to 8 p.m. This free annual festival transforms the North Promenade into a bustling marketplace, showcasing the talents of local San Diego artists. Attendees can enjoy live performances from Arts District tenants, including Apt 4 Music, The Rosin Box Project, and Young Lions Jazz Conservatory. Additional acts such as the Lucky Devils Band, High Tide Society, and DJ Chris Cutz will also take the stage. Food and drinks will be available in the beer and cocktail garden, enhancing the festive atmosphere. The North Promenade is located at 2848 Dewey Road in Point Loma.
In conjunction with the arts festival, Liberty Station will also host the third annual Anchored in Wellness Festival on June 13, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This daylong celebration focuses on movement and mindfulness, featuring activations from fitness studios, wellness practitioners, and a vendor village with over 35 wellness products. Activities include yoga, Pilates, sound baths, breathwork, cold plunges, and pop-up pickleball. The event will also feature a beer garden, non-alcoholic beverages, on-site food trucks, and giveaways. Tickets are priced at $35. The festival takes place at Ingram Plaza, located at 2640 Cushing Road in Point Loma.
Looking ahead, the 21st Annual ArtWalk Liberty Station is scheduled for July 31 through August 2. This event celebrates creativity from both sides of the border, with more than 175 artists showcasing a variety of mediums, including paintings, photography, glass and ceramic art, jewelry, and sculpture. The festival offers a unique opportunity to engage with artists and purchase original artwork. The event is free to the public and will be held at Ingram Plaza in the Arts District at Liberty Station.
