May saw the launch of the Youth Soccer Alliance, uniting ten local clubs to enhance player development and community engagement. This alliance reflects a shared dedication to nurturing young talent across San Diego County.
Additionally, Wave FC collaborated with the U.S. Soccer Foundation for the "United Through Play" event, where coaches led clinics for nearly 300 local youth, promoting inclusivity and the joy of the game.
Looking ahead, the inaugural Girlazo SoccerFest is set for July 11-12 at Surf Sports Park. This girls-only event celebrates young female athletes, offering skill-building sessions and fostering confidence among participants.
Through these initiatives, San Diego Wave FC continues to demonstrate a profound commitment to youth soccer and community enrichment, leaving a lasting impact on the region. |
